St. Patricks Day!

We are so blessed to have our neighborhood playgroup. All of the kids are around Layla's age and many moms are onto having their second babies, which are all around Blake's age. We meet every Wednesday morning and take turns on where to go and who hosts. Last week our super creative mommy friend, Tonya, hosted and threw the kids a St. Patricks Day party. The kids had a blast eating Mint chip milkshakes, cupcakes and more!

A few days later we went to the annual St. Patricks Day Parade that Charlotte hosts Uptown. The kids had a blast watching everything pass by in the parade.

Lazy 5 Ranch

There is this AWESOME place about 50 miles from Charlotte called Lazy 5 Ranch. I took Layla there with my MOPS group when I was about 8 months pregnant with Blake. We had lots of fun then, but now that Blake is here and able to experience it also we had twice as much fun! We went with almost all the families in my lifegroup and had a great day! There are a ton of animals there and we went on a horse drawn wagon through the ranch and were able to feed then animals. What a blast!

Our weekend

 The month of February has just flown by for us! Now that the weather is getting nicer we have been out and about so much! Last weekend we had two birthday parties and spent some family time at the park. Can't believe how big our sweet kiddos are getting!

Blake's New do!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated this! Time flies! We have finally been getting back out and staying busy after weeks of Layla, Blake and I being sick! So glad Spring is around the corner! A few weekends ago we took our sweet Blake to get his first "real" haircut at only 8 months old! This kids has a lot of hair and has even lost a lot since he was born! I have cut it a few times at home, or I should say I attempted to and well, it just didn't turn out so well. I think it's safe to say that being a hairdresser is not a career path I would make anytime soon!
Blake did so well for her while getting his haircut and even got to sit and drive a cute firetruck. Layla was so proud of her brother and we have been getting comments like crazy about how much he looks like daddy even more, which Tyler just loves. We love our little family so much. God has blessed us with some pretty amazing and CUTE kiddos!
